Company veterans gain new responsibilities

TUPELO, Miss. — Lane Home Furnishings has shuffled some responsibilities and named two company veterans to new positions.
Joe Eames, who had been director of wood manufacturing/supply chain, is now director of wood manufacturing/supply chain/corporate purchasing. He will be in charge of purchasing activities for the manufacturing of upholstery and wood products.
Eames joined the company in 1979 and has held positions in industrial engineering, production planning, finishing/packaging, quality control and customer service.
Whitten Grisham, who had been upholstery import manager, is now director of upholstery product development/sourcing. He will take the lead role in coordinating new upholstery product development, including sales, merchandising, product development and operations.
Grisham joined Lane in 1995 and has held positions in the cover procurement department, quality control at the Saltillo, Miss., plant, and production manager.
