Chinese furniture maker Markor eyes U.S. acquisitions

Board approves further expansion

BEIJING, China — Chinese case goods manufacturer Markor International Furniture is looking for acquisition opportunities in the United States.

Tradingmarkets.com reported that the company's board of directors approved the company pursuing such opportunities in order to expand its export business beyond OEM production.

The company is the exclusive manufacturing source for case goods importer A.R.T., which has been distributing product in the U.S. for the last five years.
