Online registration open for Toronto summer show

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario —
Online registration is now open for the Toronto Summer Furniture Show and the annual Golf Classic hosted by the Canadian Home Furnishings Alliance.
The show will run Aug. 8 to 10. In a switch from prior years, the CHFA Golf Classic will be held mid-show on Monday, Aug. 9, at the Caledon Woods Golf Club in Bolton, Ontario.
The summer show provides smaller manufacturers, importers and distributors who don't exhibit at the High Point or Las Vegas markets with an opportunity to launch product without waiting until the Canadian Home Furnishings Market in January.

As in previous years, the TSFS will overlap the summer Canadian Gift & Tableware Assn. show, which will be held at the International Centre and the Toronto Congress Centre Aug. 8-12.
“Holding the golf tournament in conjunction with the TSFS is an excellent networking opportunity for both suppliers and retailers,” said CHFA president Murray Vaughan said.
The cost to play in the Golf Classic is C$195 plus tax, which includes green fees, the use of a cart, lunch and dinner. Dinner-only tickets are available for C$75 plus tax. Golfers wishing to register, either individually or as a foursome, should log on to www.chfaweb.ca/e-golf.html.
