WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Bekaert Textiles, a Belgian mattress ticking manufacturer, is expanding its U.S. headquarters and production operations at Union Cross Business Park here, the Business Journal of the Greater Triad Area reported.
The company has acquired an 83,000-square-foot facility previously occupied by The Salem Collection, a furniture distributor. The facility is next door to Bekaert's existing 232,000-square-foot facility, which serves as the company's headquarters and production base for U.S. operations.
The paper said the expansion will increase the company's production and storage capabilities.
