Paramount taps Wayne Jarrett for N.C. sales territory

Bedding producer looking to expand reach in Southeast

NORFOLK, Va. — Paramount, a bedding producer based here, has added a veteran sales representative to open the North Carolina sales region.

Wayne Jarrett, a 30-year veteran of the home furnishings industry who has handled sales for Culp and a number of other fabric lines, will be based in the High Point area and will have responsibility for all of North Carolina, Paramount officials said.

"North Carolina represents one of our largest sales growth opportunities," said Richard Fleck, executive vice president of sales for Paramount. "Our No. 1 goal is to grow the overall business of our customers and prospects through a professional marketing and sales approach. Wayne Jarrett brings tremendous stability, energy and ethics to our company in this important region."

Paramount is aiming to expand its business in the Southeast. The producer recently debuted three new bedding brands: Heavy Duty, Back Performance and Quilt-O-Pedic.
