WithIt to honor Julie Phillips with Legacy Award
Additional WOW awards to be presented at August conference

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Ten industry people have been nominated for WithIt's 2010 WOW Awards, which will be presented at a dinner ceremony during the group's Professional Conference, set for Aug. 17-19 at the Renaissance Charlotte Suites Hotel in Charlotte, N.C.
The annual awards recognize business leaders nominated by their peers who have contributed to the success of the home furnishings industries and have demonstrated significant impact on their companies, the industry, or both.
Additionally, WithIt will honor Julie Phillips, vice president of The Phillips Collection, with its 2010 Legacy Award during its WOW Awards banquet on August 18.
The Legacy Award is the organization's top honor and recognizes the professional achievements of a woman who has made significant lifetime contributions to the home furnishings industries.
The conference theme is "Leadership2: Take it to the Next Level."
WithIt (Women in the Home Industries Today) has presented the honors since 2000. Other award categories include:
