ASFD Pinnacle Awards entry deadline is June 1

NEW LONDON, N.C. —

Do you think you're at the pinnacle of residential furniture design?

If so, it's time to submit your entries for the annual Pinnacle Awards given by the American Society of Furniture Designers. This year's entry deadline is June 1.

Awards will be presented in 15 product categories. Finalists will be disclosed after they are chosen by a panel of judges meeting in June. Winners will be announced at an awards banquet to be held Oct. 18, during the High Point Market.

One new prize, the Green Leaf award, also will be given this year to the best sustainable furnishings design, to be selected from entries in all categories. The Sustainable Furnishings Council will help review contenders for that award.

Entry information is posted on the ASFD website at www.asfd.com.

ASFD created the Pinnacle Awards in 1995 to promote design quality and encourage the recognition of furniture designers. Furniture/Today is an underwriter of the awards.
