Bill Cubberley joins Orient Express Furniture
Will be director of business development for importer

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, Calif. — Industry veteran Bill Cubberley has joined importer Orient Express Furniture as director of business development, a new position at the company.
Cubberley most recently was a consultant for furniture sources A-America and Orleans. He has held sales and marketing positions in the industry for more than 30 years and was senior vice president of sales and marketing at Stanley Furniture for more than 15 years.
He will report to Anders Johnson, president of Star International Furniture, parent company of Orient Express. The company said Cubberley also will work for Christian Cousins, director of sales and product development for Orient Express, in developing a sales and distribution plan for the division.
"Bill's experience in the industry is a valuable addition to our team," said Johnson. "I look forward to uncovering the opportunities his insight has to offer."
Cubberley will be based in High Point, where he now resides.
