Bedding products source Downlite opens Phoenix plant
Facility expected to be completed in November

MASON, Ohio — Downlite, a producer of down and feather bedding products, plans to expand its production with the opening of a plant in Phoenix.
The company, based here, said work on the new facility will begin shortly, with completion scheduled for November. The company said it is pleased to be expanding its footprint in the United States.
"Downlite is well aware of the issues that exist in manufacturing in the U.S.," said James Lape, CEO of Downlite. "Our company has been fortunate to have pillow programs that have excelled ... providing profit to our retail partners. We need to have additional production to service the growth in demand."
Downlite is a leading supplier of down-filled comforters and pillows. Its product lines also include feather beds, mattress pads and filled blankets.
