Motion sofas - from Upholstery Fabric and Style Survey

Leather/suede grabbed the largest pieces, posting a 37% share at medium ($900 to $1,599) price points and a 63% share of market at high ($1,600 and above) price points for units sold in 2008.

At low price points ($899 and below), microdeniers gobbled up the biggest slice of the unit market share pie at 41%.
Contemporary styles reigned as market share leaders for motion sofas across all price points, capturing over one-half of market share of units sold at medium (57%) and high price points (58%) and nearly three-quarters (72%) of share at high price points.
