VESTAL, N.Y. — American Home, a new home furnishings retailer with grand franchise expansion plans, will open its first store this weekend in a 15,000-square-foot former Ethan Allen location, according to a local report.
The full service store will feature goods from suppliers such as Broyhill, Kincaid, Surya and Serta as well as custom window treatments.
The new company is led by Michael Rouhana, CEO, and Jay Fanara, president. According to the report, Fanara said plans call for a network of 50 American Home stores opening over the next 60 months. The retailer will perfect the model in Vestal, then open stores along the East Coast and then throughout the country, he said.
