Bennotti joins textile source Camira

INDIANAPOLIS - Industry veteran Paul Bennotti has joined textile source Camira as director of business development, supporting the United Kingdom-based company's entry into the North American market.
Bennotti will direct Camira's strategic business development into core markets and channels, including contract, hospitality and residential in the furniture manufacturing and architectural and design channels.
He will work with Camira Director of Sales Simon Whittaker, who recent relocated to Indianapolis from the U.K. to oversee the establishment of the company's North American operations.
Bennotti most recently was a senior executive at Canadian textile company Victor Group. He has been in the industry 25 years, including stints at BASF and Interface Fabrics.
Camira says it sells 10 million yards of fabric annually to clients around the world. Its fabrics are characterized by European styling and British-tailored design in intensely saturated color patterns.
Fabrics will be stocked in Indianapolis, serviced by the yard and sold by independent representatives calling on furniture manufacturers and A&D clients.
