HIGH POINT — AICO/Amini Innovations Corp. is expanding its High Point Market showroom by 10,000 square feet, enabling it to offer more product in a bigger and better display area. The importer of bedroom, dining room and living room furniture will now show in 35,000 square feet on the eighth floor of the International Home Furnishings Center's Commerce wing, C-802.
"The High Point Market has been such an important venue for our industry, and we are committed to supporting its growth and success," said Michael Amini, company founder and CEO.
AICO President Martin Ploy said the redesigned showroom will include a new top-of-bed display area, twice the space for the bistro, and exciting visual effects.
"Although it's been only one year since we moved in and renovated this showroom, it was always our goal to expand as soon as more space became available. This expansion will enable us to show an even greater range of product in a setting that we hope will inspire our dealers for their own showrooms," Ploy said.
The expanded showroom will have a dedicated display area for the collections in Michael Amini & Jane Seymour, A Design Collaboration. It will house the Hollywood Swank, Palace Gates and Cobblestone Road collections, as well two collections making their High Point debut, Grand Traditions and Lake Shore Retreat.
AICO also will present new Michael Amini Signature designs in upholstery and top-of-bed at the market, which runs Oct. 16-21.
