HIGH POINT — Upholstery resource Italian Homes, a company formed last year to distribute two Italian sofa brands in the U.S. market, is rebranding its product line and will sell it under a single name - Nicoletti Calia.
Vincenzo Scocuzza, the company's national sales manager, said the new name will make the line easier for retailers to understand and eliminate confusion in the marketplace.
Previously, products were sold under the Nicoletti Home and CaliaItalia brand names.
The name change will be completed in time for this month's High Point Market, where Italian Homes has a showroom at the International Home Furnishings Center, space D-824.
Although the Nicoletti and Calia brands originated in Italy, products for the U.S. market are made at a 110,000 square-foot factory in Faqing City, China.
"We can offer Italian fashion and design made in Asia at very competitive prices," said Scocuzza. "We produce Italian Homes' collection with the same standards of quality for which Nicoletti and Calia are renowned worldwide. Great attention to detail and comfort are guaranteed, thanks to our Italian technicians' efforts."
The line consists largely of contemporary leather upholstery, but some fabric and microfiber covers are available, as are some frames with traditional and transitional styling.
Scocuzza is based at the company's U.S. sales and marketing office in High Point.
