Kelly Cain joins Lexington Home Brands as SVP operations

HIGH POINT — Kelly Cain, a nearly 30-year veteran of case goods resource Stanley Furniture, has joined Lexington Home Brands as senior vice president of operations.
He fills a position vacated by Bob Sitler, who left Lexington late last year to spend more time with family, the company said.
Cain most recently was vice president of international sales and special markets for Stanley. He joined the company in 1981 as a sales representative in Florida and became part of its management team in 1985, holding executive positions in international and domestic sales, sales management, operations planning and product development.
In his new role, he reports to president and CEO Phil Haney and will be responsible for all aspects of domestic and international case goods operations. This includes global sourcing, supply chain management, logistics and helping oversee the company's distribution facility in Lexington, N.C.
Haney said Can's "ability to forge strategic relationships with suppliers, and enhance our efficiency on the supply side of the business will prove impactful as we leverage the success we have experienced in introducing exciting new product designs to our dealers."
