Aspenhome's new Savings Express USA program offers pricing discounts

HIGH POINT — Furniture source Aspenhome has a new Savings Express USA program that allows retailers to take advantage of container pricing through Aspenhome's domestic warehouse in Phoenix.
Under the program, which was introduced in August, orders are consolidated at the warehouse and retailers can choose from 1,700 products to fill their order.
They can also receive net 30 days payment terms, enabling them to have the merchandise before payment is due. Orders take about 10 days for delivery.
To receive container pricing orders must meet a minimum of 300 cubic feet, about enough space for a bedroom group, a home office and an entertainment wall.
The program was launched in August. It offers savings of about 10% to 20% off the pricing in the quick-ship program Aspenhome launched in 2008. That program is called ASAP, for Aspenhome Ships as Priority, and furniture retailers get delivery in 10 days or less.
Aspenhome's original Savings Express program was launched out of China in 2002 and offered what was then an industry novelty - mixed containers.
A container has about 2,250 cubic feet of space.
