TM International to open first U.S. warehouse
Facility will ship product in as little as 48 hours

HIGH POINT — Case goods and upholstery importer TM International has announced it is opening its first U.S. warehouse in Greensboro, N.C.The company, which is showing at this week's High Point Market, is leasing about 30,000 square feet of space, which will house its bestselling adult and youth bedrooms. This will provide large and small retailers with product that can ship in as little as 48 hours.
"Our goal, in this economy, is to support retailers that need help with U.S. inventory," said company President and CEO Ron O'Dell. "It's been very well received."
He added that the facility will hold about $1 million worth of wholesale inventory. The product mix initially will include the company's best performing items in bedroom and youth bedroom.
The company also will ship full and mixed containers, shipped from warehouses located near its overseas source factories.
Goods for the domestic warehouse are on the water now and will begin shipping from Greensboro in January.
In High Point, TM International shows in space 100 of Center Point on Russell.
