Heimtextil to feature informational lectures, events
Fabric show set for Jan. 12-15 in Frankfurt

FRANKFURT, Germany — Three days of lectures and events focusing on current trends and developments in the household and contract textile markets are on tap for Heimtextil, the international fair for residential and contract textiles set to take place here Jan. 12-15.Dubbed "Let's Talk about It," the lecture program will have three themes: how fashion influences interiors, sustainability, and the latest on the contract business.
"With this program of lectures, we examine the predominant trends in the market, and supply representatives of the trade and industry with valuable information about topical issues," said Olaf Schmidt, vice president of textile fairs for event organizer Messe Frankfurt.
Speakers will include entrepreneurs, marketing experts and representatives of trade associations, the show said.
Heimtextil is recognized as one of the largest home and contract fairs in the world with an annual attendance of 85,000 visitors. The "Let's Talk about It" schedule is online at www.heimtextil.messefrankfurt.com.
