A 30-year veteran of the mattress industry, Holder will focus on the development of business opportunities for new and existing supply chain solutions, and on the identification, development and delivery of new products, officials said.
"His diverse experience, product design background, and tremendous understanding of the industry is an asset to our company and we believe he will make quick and significant contribution to our business," said VyMaC CEO Dave Young.
Holder will report to VyMaC's vice president of sales, Mike Schweiger.
Before joining VyMaC, Holder was vice president of sales and product development at Supreme Quilting in Toronto. His career in the mattress industry dates back to working for his family's business, Holder Mattress Co. He later was with Banner Mattress and Southern Dreams Bedding, and consulted for industry companies such as Vivetique and Eastman House.
VyMaC is a supplier of sleep product kits and raw materials to bedding manufacturers and specialty bedding companies.
