Dorell opens permanent High Point showroom
Plans grand opening during winter Showtime
Gary Evans -- Furniture Today, November 10, 2010
HIGH POINT — Dorell Fabrics, a supplier of home furnishings fabrics since 1934, has opened a new showroom at 115 Market Square Tower here.
"The move to the permanent showroom allows us to showcase our products on a full-time basis, while offering a more workable environment for our customers," said Tom Shepard, vice president of sales.
Dorell will hold a grand opening celebration of its new space on Monday, Dec. 6 during the winter Showtime event.
The company said it also is relocating its corporate headquarters and Los Angeles facility to Fountain Valley, Calif.
"With the loyal support of our customers, we have experienced excellent sales growth in 2010," said Richard Zack, Dorell's president. "The growth necessitates our move to a larger and more efficient facility."
Dorell will continue to service East Coast customers from its Burlington, N.C., facility, the company said.
