HOUSTON —Country music singer Wes Hayden drew a big crowd to Finger Furniture here in an appearance last week, giving a free concert in the store and signing autographs.
Hundreds showed up at the store at 4001 Gulf Freeway to see and hear Hayden, who also has appeared on the ABC-TV reality shows "The Bachelorette" and "Bachelor Pad."
Some fans even did some shopping during their visit, the store said. The event kicked off the Finger Furniture Main Event sale.
Hayden performed songs from his three albums, including his most recent, "Full Circle."
Finger officials said the concert was a success as it helped the store become more engaged with its customers. In an earlier event with the same goal, Finger hosted five generations of Houston baseball players, including Houston Astros Michael Bourne and Jose Cruz, to meet fans and sign autographs in the store's Sports Museum.
