Andy Gillies to lead Calvin Klein Home Furniture licensee

NEW YORK — Industry veteran Andy Gillies has been named president and CEO of Z3 LLC, the exclusive licensing partner of Calvin Klein Home Furniture.

In this new position, Gillies will oversee all aspects of business development including manufacturing, sales, distribution and product assortment for the furniture line.

Gillies has more than 35 years of industry experience, most recently as vice president of importer Hamilton Spill Furniture Group. Earlier, he held senior management positions at companies including DMI Furniture and Barrett Furniture, where he was a co-owner.

Gillies will work with Calvin Klein Home's vice president and managing director, Bentley Hardwick, and its creative director, Amy Mellen.

The Calvin Klein Curator Collection was launched at the High Point Market in October 2008.

As sole licensee, Z3 is now distributing the Calvin Klein Home Furniture in the Americas and Australia. The company is controlled by Wingspan Capital Partners, based in Birmingham, Mich.
