Ikea gives bicycles to all its U.S. employees
Way of thanking them for their work

CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa. — Top 100 company Ikea surprised all of its U.S. work force here with shiny new bicycles as a holiday time thank you, according to a story on the CNN Money website.The gift of silver mountain bikes "is our way of saying, ‘Thanks Ikea coworkers for being strongly committed to working together,'" Ikea U.S. President Mike Ward said in a statement.
That amounts to 12,400 bikes. As befits Ikea, the CNN story said, some assembly is required.
