New Classic opens North Carolina warehouse
Will service company's East Coast customers

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Case goods and upholstery resource New Classic Home Furnishings will begin shipping in a few weeks from a new distribution center here to service East Coast customers.
The first shipments from the 250,000-square-foot warehouse are slated for Feb. 1, a press release said. It added that the facility has room to expand.
"The time was right to open our first satellite warehouse. Our customer base in the Midwest and East has grown significantly and the warehouse will better service their needs for quick shipment," said Rob Hoffman, executive vice president of sales and marketing.
"Having the East Coast warehouse will significantly reduce freight costs and ship time for a large portion of our customers," he added.
The warehouse will initially be stocked with New Classic's most popular lines of bedroom, dining room and living room collections. The company plans to continue to adding items.
New Classic has warehouses in southern California and China that support its mixed container program. The facility here is the first distribution center the company has opened outside California.
The company began selling upholstery in 2009 and introduced its first whole home collections earlier this year. New Classic is the marketing and distribution arm of Chinese furniture manufacturer Yihua International Group.
