AUSTIN, Texas — Case goods and upholstery resource Four Hands has promoted Jerome Kearns to executive vice president and chief operating officer.
Kearns joined Four Hands as chief operating officer in 2008.
In his expanded role, he will be responsible for streamlining product development cycles, and for warehouse and logistics functions and daily operations of the company.
He continues to report to Matthew Briggs, president and CEO. The change coincides with Kearns handing over the leadership of the sales force to national sales manager Chris Miller, who joined the company in 2010.
"Since Jerome joined Four Hands two years ago, he has not only added value to every aspect of the company but has truly established himself as a natural leader who exemplifies our company's core values," Briggs said in a press release.
Kearns was previously with Motion Computing, where he was the senior vice president of global operations. Earlier, he was with Dell Computer.
