LAS VEGAS — The Western Home Furnishings Assn.'s Retailer Resource Center will have a new home at this month's Las Vegas Market, on the fourth floor of the World Market Center's Building C.
Located in spaces C-488/496, the new center is more than 12,000 square feet. It will offer buyers expanded resources, an enlarged seminar room, Internet and charging stations, a business services trade show and the new Buyer's Club, providing retailers with a quiet place out of the sales environment where they can enjoy a free continental breakfast, coffee, afternoon snacks, beer and wine.
"Our new location in C-488/496 is conveniently located between the escalators, elevators and Building B breezeway, which makes it easily accessible for all buyers," said WHFA Executive Director Sharron Bradley.
"There is a lot of buzz about the new space and we are excited to be able to expand the services we offer retailers during busy market weeks. Our seminar room can now accommodate over 100 retailers and the business services trade show is sold out. It is even easier for retailers to find education and services to save their business money," she said.
To celebrate the opening, the RRC will host an open house on the first day of market, Monday, Jan. 24, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Retailers can enter to win an iPad, Visa gift cards and an all-expenses-paid trip to San Antonio for the 2011 Home Furnishings Industry Conference.
