Textile producer Camira assembles North American sales force
British company to sell to manufacturers, A&D segments
Gary Evans -- Furniture Today, January 11, 2011
INDIANAPOLIS — British textile producer Camira, which announced its entry into North America six months ago, says it has put together its sales team for the United States and Canada. The company, whose North American headquarters is here, said it has concluded sales representation agreements with organizations and individuals to market to both the furniture manufacturer and architecture and design segments.
Camira, which says it sells 10 million yards of fabric annually in more than 70 countries, says it offers a range of intensely saturated color palettes and distinctive British designs. Fabrics are sold through a cut yardage program and from inventory held in the company's warehouse and distribution center here.
A number of reps cover the United States, while a single organization, the Woeller Group, covers Canada. A list of sales representatives, including their territories and contact information, is available through drop-down menus on the Camira website, www.camirafabrics.com.
"We have recruited, retained and trained the highest quality sales professionals to represent the Camira brand and bring our products to market," said Paul Bennotti, director of business development for North America. "They're raring to go and recognize the gap in the market for high design upholstery fabrics in gorgeous color palettes at an amazing price."
