Palecek gets new showroom at Las Vegas Design Center

LAS VEGAS — Palecek has a new 2,500 sq.-ft. showroom, A-132, in the Las Vegas Design Center. The national and international wholesaler's location will adjoin the new, multi-line LMS Design Group showroom. LMS Design Group staff will operate Palecek between the biannual Las Vegas Market.
David Beld, vice president, sales and marketing with Palecek, said that the new showroom brings an opportunity to expand and service the Palecek clientele.
"Palecek is excited to unveil our new, permanent showroom in Las Vegas Design Center in time for the January 2011 Market," he said. "As we break ground in our new space, we at Palecek are eager to develop with Las Vegas Design Center and take advantage of the growing West Coast market. The opportunity to showcase our products at World Market Center will allow Palecek to expand its West Coast presence. Palecek is thrilled to be part of the growth of World Market Center Las Vegas."
Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Palecek started 35 years ago. The company has since expanded to include wood, wicker, rattan and metal furniture, domestic upholstery and finishing, lighting, wall décor, textiles, accessories and gifts.
"While Palecek has grown, it has maintained a steady, tangible connection to its roots in woven basketry," said Randy Wells, vice president, Las Vegas Design Center. "There is a link to that core competency of woven natural materials that is visible in everything Palecek creates. Over the years, Palecek has flourished as a full-line furniture, lighting and accessories company that is a staple for many designers, and we are very excited to have them as a part of Las Vegas Design Center."
