KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Robert E. "Bob" Truesdell, a longtime sales representative, has died of a heart attack at age 59.
At the time of his death, Truesdell was a sales rep with American Drew, Lea Inds. and Hammary, covering Tennessee, Kentucky and parts of North Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia. He had been with American Drew and Lea since 2002 and added Hammary in April.

"He was a valuable sales representative for our companies and he represented each company with true professionalism every day. Our sales force, company employees, his customers and his friends will miss him greatly."
Truesdell got his start in the industry at Broyhill, working in manufacturing before switching to sales in the late 1970s. He eventually moved to Knoxville to cover the eastern Tennessee and western North Carolina territories, before switching to the La-Z-Boy brands in the early 2000s.
He is survived by his wife, a daughter, two grandsons, his mother and a sister.
