Dos Marcos a hit at Magowitz auction

BOSTON - It was another big evening for Dos Marcos.

Dos Marcos, Spanish for Two Marks, i.e. Quinn and Kinsley, once again teamed up, this time producing a fast-paced live auction that brought in $125,000 for the cause of pancreatic cancer research.

Mark Quinn, CEO of Sibose LLC, and Mark Kinsley, staff vice president for marketing in Leggett & Platt’s Bedding Group, worked closely together at Leggett & Platt a few years ago and retain an easy camaraderie that makes them a powerful team.

Each played his part perfectly the other night when the Seena Magowitz Golf Classic held the live auction that is one of the highlights of its event. The Marks expertly drew bids from the hundreds of attendees at the gala dinner, successfully auctioning off everything from a vintage mattress ad collection to a luxury suite at Yankee Stadium.

Mark Kinsley’s wife, Tara, even served as a model during the auction, displaying some of the glamorous jewelry that was for sale.

The two won rave reviews for their performance, but they deflected the spotlight.

“I don’t think either of us will be quitting our day jobs,” Mark Quinn said. “We are thrilled that we can help raise funds for pancreatic cancer research.”
