Jim Siragusa rejoins Latex International in sales role

Will focus on business outside North America

Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, January 20, 2011

SHELTON, Conn. — Latex International has hired mattress veteran Jim Siragusa as vice president of international sales.

Siragusa was senior director of business development of international growth at Latex International but left the company in 2009 to start his own international consulting firm in the specialty bedding category.

Siragusa will report to Tomas Eisenberg, senior vice president of sales and marketing.

"We are excited about having Jim join our new management team," Eisenberg said. "Our business outside North America continues to be a major part of our strategy and Jim's development of this strategy is fundamental to the growth and success of Latex International."

Siragusa has more than 33 years experience in the furniture industry, including positions at Gimbel's, Macy's and Dillard's department stores and at bedding producers Sealy, Simmons and Premier Bedding Group.
