Bill Carpenter joins Legacy Traditions as VP of strategic accounts
Will work with major retailers in key markets

HICKORY, N.C. — Industry veteran Bill Carpenter has joined case goods importer Legacy Traditions Solid Wood Furniture as senior vice president of strategic accounts.
In the new position, Carpenter will be responsible for working closely with major retailers in key markets to increase sales and expand distribution. He reports to President and CEO Jack DeBonis.
With 34 years of industry experience, Carpenter most recently was vice president of retail development for accessories resource Imax. He got his start in the business in retail at the former Manhattan Furniture in Tulsa, Okla. He has held executive posts at Kincaid, Boyd Furniture, Lifestyle Solutions and Collezione Europa.
Legacy Traditions is owned by Millenia USA, with headquarters and warehouse and distribution operations in Hickory, N.C. Millenia is a vertically integrated partner with PT Millenia Furniture Inds. of Indonesia, producing and marketing solid wood bedroom of Indonesian and U.S. hardwoods.
The company is showing for the first time at next week's Las Vegas Market in World Market Center, A-816. It also shows in High Point.
