WithIt launches Women to Watch recognition campaign

New honoree to be named daily on Facebook page

GREENSBORO, N.C. — WithIt is honoring female professionals in home, furnishings and related industries in a new recognition campaign launching today on the organization's Facebook fan page.

Women to Watch will acknowledge 39 outstanding professionals who have made noteworthy contributions to their industries and communities. A single recipient will be announced each business day starting today and finishing on March 25.

The first, announced today, is Kim Knopf, founder and president of Innovative Mattress Solutions in Winfield, Va., which operates stores under the Mattress Warehouse and Sleep Outfitters names.

"As a leadership development network, WithIt is first to recognize female leaders in the home and furnishings industries," said Mary Leigh Howell, WithIt president and vice president of RLF Communications. "Women to Watch will identify these top talents, as well as create excitement among our members and prospects via social media channels."

A list of winners will be maintained on WithIt's Facebook and Twitter pages.

Howell said Women to Watch will set the stage for the announcement of WithIt's WOW Awards finalists on Aug. 24 during the organization's educational conference in Raleigh, N.C.

Founded in 1997, WithIt is a North American women's leadership development network in the home and furnishings industries.
