Habersham names Mark Rossi vice president of sales
Has been rep for company since 1985
Thomas Russell -- Furniture Today, February 10, 2011
TOCCOA, Ga. — High-end case goods manufacturer Habersham has named longtime sales rep Mark Rossi as its vice president of sales.
He fills a post that was vacated by Tom Skipper, who left the company last year to become president of upholstery manufacturer Massoud Furniture.
Rossi is CEO and founder of the Carolina Sales Group, an independent sales agency that represents high-end furniture companies. He became the Carolinas rep for Habersham in 1985 and since then has helped the company grow its customer base in and outside the Carolinas.
In addition to working with traditional furniture dealers Rossi has helped increase the company's sales in furniture and custom kitchen and bath cabinetry among designers, kitchen dealers, architects and builders.
In his new role, he reports to Matt Eddy, president.
"Our company has experienced significant growth, faced industry challenges and tapped into many new business opportunities over the past 25-plus years, and Mark Rossi has been with us every step of the way," Eddy said in a statement. "His keen understanding of our line, our sales force, our clients and company mission make him the best possible candidate for this key position. Mark's long history and first-hand experience with virtually every aspect of our business, together with his proven leadership skills and industry insight, promise to have a strong impact on Habersham's future growth and development."
