WithIt honors women with Facebook page

GREENSBORO, N.C. — WithIt is honoring female professionals in home, furnishings and related industries in a new recognition campaign it launched last week on its Facebook fan page.

Women to Watch will acknowledge 39 outstanding professionals who have made noteworthy contributions to their industries and communities.

A single recipient will be announced each business day through March 25.

"As a leadership development network, WithIt is first to recognize female leaders in the home and furnishings industries," said Mary Leigh Howell, WithIt president and vice president of RLF Communications. "Women to Watch will identify these top talents, as well as create excitement among our members and prospects via social media channels."

A list of winners will be maintained on WithIt's Facebook and Twitter pages. The Facebook page is at www.facebook.com/WithItWomen and the Twitter feed is http://twitter.com/withit.

Howell said Women to Watch will set the stage for the announcement of WithIt's WOW Awards finalists on Aug. 24 during the organization's educational conference in Raleigh, N.C.
