Globe Express offering customhouse brokerage services

TORONTO — Third-party logistics provider Globe Express Services has added customhouse brokerage services to its menu of options for customers in Canada.
The Charlotte, N.C.-based logistics provider said the new services will be available through its offices in Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa and Vancouver.
It allows the company to offer a full range of brokerage services in house, including classification, port and cross-border clearance, and compliance consulting.
"Customhouse brokerage has become a major part of our business around the world, both as a value-added service for our import customers and as a stand-alone product, independent of transportation," said David Pupco, vice president, Canada. "We are excited to continue this tradition in Canada, allowing us to provide a complete, in-house logistics solution using only our own people."
