Upholstery maker Lee Inds. joins ABC coverage on U.S.-made goods

NEWTON, N.C. — North Carolina upholstery producer Lee Inds. says it expects to see its products featured tonight on ABC-TV's weeklong report on American-made products.Lee provided living room furniture for a series of segments in which ABC is attempting to replace imported products with American-made goods in a Dallas family's home. The segments are running on the nightly "ABC News World Report with Diane Sawyer."
Other furniture participants in the ABC series include Harden Furniture, Vaughan-Bassett Furniture and L.J. Gascho.
"We are thrilled to be a part of this program and hope that Americans seek out and purchase more products made in the USA," said Bondi Coley, Lee Furniture marketing manager.
