Biltmore hires new licensing director

ASHEVILLE, N.C. — The Biltmore Estate's licensing division has hired Donnette Miller as licensing director for home furnishings.
She replaces Elizabeth Ford, who was promoted to product development director for a new direct sales business for home and food products for Biltmore, the sprawling former home of George Vanderbilt here that continues to draws thousands of visitors each year.
Miller comes to the company from Design and Development Inc., a custom furniture design firm where she was a co-owner and vice president of sales and marketing. Earlier, she worked in marketing and product development roles for Miresco Decorative Rugs and Universal Furniture.
At Biltmore, she reports to Tim Rosebrock, brand vice president and general manager. Miller will be responsible for managing the Biltmore home furnishings licensing activities and also developing new business within the brand.
She will be based in High Point. The home furnishings licensees she will help oversee include Capel Rugs, Habersham, Encore/Sarreid and Larson- Julh.
