Homelegance USA promotes Jamie Collins to EVP

HIGH POINT — Industry veteran Jamie Collins has been promoted to executive vice president of case goods importer Homelegance USA, a new position.

The title signifies Collins' expanded responsibilities in day-to-day operation of the company over the last several years. He reports to Hutch Chao, chairman of the company.
Collins joined Homelegance in 2006 as vice president of sales and marketing and has gradually added responsibilities including product development, factoring and product flow.
Previously he was vice president of sales and retail development at Thomasville. He also held positions at Bassett Furniture and Lea Inds.
"In addition to his sales and marketing responsibilities, Jamie's ongoing contributions to product development, vendor relations and operations have greatly enhanced the growth of Homelegance," Chao said in a press release. "His experience in our industry and his knowledge of so many aspects of our business has been and will continue to be a great asset to our company."
