All-Industry Blues Band plays tonight at McPhersons

HIGH POINT — Time to get your blues shoes out for the traditional City of Hope fundraising concert tonight by the All-Industry Blues Band.

The festivities will get under way around 7:30 p.m. at McPherson's Bar & Grill, 5710 High Point Road in Greensboro, N.C.

In what has become a market tradition over the past few years, members of the industry will show their musical talents for the benefit of City of Hope, the California-based medical research and treatment center that focuses on cancer and other life-threatening diseases. The band will pass the hat (or a cheap plastic bucket, more likely) to seek contributions.
