Retail veteran Roberta Woodard joins Parker House

HIGH POINT — Case goods and upholstery resource Parker House has hired furniture retailing veteran Roberta Woodard as vice president of merchandising.

Woodard had worked for Virginia Beach, Va.-based Haynes Furniture for 30 years, most recently as senior vice president and general merchandise manager for Haynes and The Dump stores.

At Parker House, she will oversee product development for both Parker House and the company's Parker Living division, which imports leather upholstery.

The company is here this week for the High Point Market.
