Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, April 13, 2011
COLUMBUS, Ohio — PMD Furniture Direct said it has opened two new franchise stores in St. Louis and Dallas, bringing its store count to 25.
The company awarded the franchises to Bob Hardy in St. Louis and Pam Waleri in Dallas.
"Both come to us with extensive business backgrounds and an excitement to open and run their businesses," said PMD founder and CEO Jeff Hosking, who converted the network of stores to a franchise model in late 2009.
The new stores offer the company's exclusive private label brand of furniture called Royal Heritage Home Furnishings, according to a press release.
