New Ridge to open High Point showroom

BLACKSBURG, Va. – Ready to assemble furniture vendor New Ridge Home Goods has chosen a 1,700-square-foot space, 207-A in High Point’s Centerpoint on Hamilton, as its first U.S. showroom.

The company will debut its solid wood RTA product during High Point’s April 2017 market.

In September, New Ridge opened an office and warehouse in Blacksburg to serve the U.S. market.

The company manufactures its goods in Northern China. In addition to solid wood construction, New Ridge has 11 fashionable finishes and uses a specially formulated pre-catalyzed top coat and sealer to make the products moisture resistant for a longer life.

The new showroom located will allow New Ridge Home the ability to showcase its many categories and functions, said Keith Covey, senior vice president of sales.

New Ridge Home Goods manufactures solid birch RTA products for entryway, kitchen, bath and now entertainment and occasional furniture.

“The line continues to grow and expand into categories not traditionally covered by other manufactures,” said Covey. “We want to help retailers take advantage of the pieces that tie rooms together with their beauty and function. This new showroom will provide the perfect platform to show retailers what kind of partner New Ridge Home Goods can be.”
