ATLANTA — American Global Logistics is among the winners of the Atlanta Business Chronicle's 16th annual Pacesetter Awards honoring Atlanta's 50 Fastest-Growing Private Companies. With revenue growth of nearly 185% between 2008 and 2010, AGL placed 25th, winning the award for the first time in company history.
Founded in 2007, AGL says it focuses on providing a high level of customer service to a limited number of high-volume shippers, a business strategy that helped its revenue top $100 million in 2010. The company's services include ocean and air logistics, warehouse and distribution and supply chain management.
"AGL has assembled an all-star team, made up of top customer service professionals, whom we've worked with throughout the past 15 years. This has allowed AGL to grow at a very fast pace, primarily through referrals, while being able to maintain our customer service level," said CEO Chad Rosenberg.
