Christine Ufniak joins Caber Sure Fit in marketing, innovation role

MARKHAM, Ontario — Caber Sure Fit has named Christine Ufniak as vice president of marketing and innovation, a new position for the value-added product specialist.

Marc de Grave, who joined Caber in November 2009 as vice president, has left the company.
Caber Sure Fit President Bernard Weinstein said the company's recent growth has prompted a realignment of the senior management team including the addition of Ufniak, who has 25 years of experience in marketing and innovation.
"We needed a senior executive to develop unique marketing strategies, as well as innovative products to complement our long-term goals." Weinstein said in a statement.
Most recently, Ufniak was a senior account director at Watt International, a Toronto-based retail consulting and design firm. Earlier, she was group design manager for consumer packaged goods specialist Kraft Canada and an account director for Toronto advertising agency Brandid, MacLaren McCann.
Caber acquired slipcover specialist Sure Fit earlier this year and changed its name to Caber Sure Fit. Caber also offers a number of other products including Protect-A-Bed mattress protectors, the BedCare mattress warranty, the Diamond-Kote furniture protection plan and P3 Performance protection plan for appliances.
