KAS Rugs adding to assortment this winter

SOMERSET, N.J. — Rug and soft goods manufacturer KAS Rugs will introduce some 150 new products during markets in Atlanta and Las Vegas.

Officials from the Somerset, N.J.-based producer say the company is broadening its range of price points by introducing higher quality rugs and focusing on textures and lifestyle trends. New collections include:

Mission is a super dense and plush, silky rug that comes in an array of 11 patterns across five sizes with styles that range from simple transitionals to bohemian looks.

Austin is hand knotted by Indian artisans into a soft and plush wool pile with a unique ribbed effect. The rugs are finished with a braided fringe and are textured from top to bottom. Austin comes in seven transitional patterns across five sizes.

Empire is hand tufted in a velvety wool blend with silky viscose highlights in a variety of watercolor looks. Its patterns are abstract and easy on the eyes in a tonal color palette.

Additionally, KAS will launch its second annual Outdoor Lookbook. KAS has expanded its indoor/outdoor assortment significantly and the company continues to expand on the strongest collections and bring to market new and innovative outdoor constructions every market season.

KAS will open a day early at each market: on Tuesday, Jan. 10, in Atlanta (AmericasMart Building 1 4-C-5) and Saturday, Jan. 21, in Las Vegas (World Market Center B-175). It is offering free freight for the entire month of January and pillow and pouf discounts all week during market.
