Ergomotion expands in California

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – Adjustable bed maker Ergomotion has opened a new office in the expanding Cabrillo Business Park here.

The new office expands the company’s operations in Goleta, where Ergomotion’s U.S. operations are based, and it reflects a commitment by the company to its U.S. footprint, officials said.

While Ergomotion is a Chinese-owned company, owner Jack Tang said he remains dedicated to retaining the company’s headquarters in Santa Barbara, where the company has been located for 10 years. He said Ergomotion is making solid commitments to the city in many ways, including purchasing its own building.

“We are focusing on growth and making commitments to ensure Ergomotion is a great place to work,” said Tang.

All of the renovation work on the new office was contracted out to local businesses, including locally owned Cordero Carpentry. It’s the sixth renovation project owner Brian Cordero has done for Ergomotion as the producer continues to expand to new facilities, the company said.
