OLD FORGE, Pa. – Power lift chair supplier UltraComfort America has promoted Dave Danhof to vice president of sales.

The promotion came after the recent retirement of Bob Smith, who served in that position since 2008.

“During his tenure with UltraComfort, Dave has proven to be an invaluable part of our team,” said Richard Golden, CEO. “His experience in the industry and dedication to the line has helped us grow over the past six years. Dave has proven to be a true leader and a team player, and we look forward to working with him in his new role as vice president.”

Danhof entered the furniture industry in 1976 as a retail manager and buyer for an independent furniture store. After nearly a decade in furniture, Danhof advanced his career by spending more than 20 years as a representative, 17 years with La-Z-Boy and four years with Ashley Furniture. In 2011, he joined the UltraComfort team as the National Sales Manager.

UltraComfort America is the retail furniture division of Golden Technologies, one of the largest power lift chair manufacturers in the U.S.
