He will focus on expanding PMP's services in the region, where the furniture sales promotion, liquidation and consulting company says it has seen some new retail interest in its promotional services.
For the past 10 years, Isaacson was chief operating officer for sales promotion and liquidation company The Great American Group. He was responsible for the day-to-day operations and directed the liquidation process for many retailers, including Heilig-Meyers, Homelife, Kirschman's, Levitz and Rhodes.
Previously, he ran the sales division for Chicago retailer Continental Furniture and held similar positions with several other furniture stores over a 13-year period.
"Tom's reputation, promotional experience and his knowledge of the furniture industry were the primary factors in bringing Tom on board so that PMP can easily expand into the Midwest," said Ron Cooper, the company's director of sales and marketing.
