Stanley furniture featured in Coastal Living Ultimate Beach House

NORFOLK, Va. — Stanley Furniture will showcase pieces from its latest Coastal Living collection in this year's Coastal Living Ultimate Beach House, opening next month in this southeast Virginia city.
The 3,110-square-foot house is in East Beach, a section of Norfolk along the picturesque Chesapeake Bay. It will be open to the public for tours July 28 through Nov. 27 and is expected to draw some 30,000 visitors.
Stanley Coastal Living collection pieces were selected for the house by interior designer Phoebe Howard.
"The 2011 Coastal Living Ultimate Beach House sets new standards for updated beach home design, while celebrating life along the coast," said Neil MacKenzie, director of marketing for Stanley. "Our Coastal Living Resort Collection seamlessly intertwines the simplicity of seaside living with the meticulously crafted design and sophistication of East Beach homes."
In addition to Coastal Living collection furniture, the beach house will include pieces from Stanley's Modern Craftsman, Continuum and Classic Portfolio collections.
Coastal Living Magazine opens an Ultimate Beach House each year to highlight lifestyles and design trends in coastal areas around the country. Each house is built specifically for the event. Last year's house was in Seabrook, Wash.
